Hello all, It's been awhile since I've given everyone an update on what's going on with Louder Than Words Project (LTW Project). We've had several quiet months, but things are really starting to pick up. Right now, we have a lot going on; a GoFundMe Fundraiser, a storefront on Teespring, and we're also currently organizing a benefit concert. Read all about it below! Help start-up Louder Than Words Project Since 2010, I've been slowly but surely working to start-up Louder Than Words Project. I've hit a bit of a roadblock financially to get things fully started by applying for the Nonproject tax exemption status of 501(c)(3), so I launched a GoFundMe to help. The money from this would go towards helping me to start-up LTW Project: filing for NonProfit status, legal cost, website, trademarking the logo, etc. https://www.gofundme.com/ltwproject Watch the elevator pitch below to hear about my goals for LTW Project. Here's a bit more about LTW Project: Giving back through music one project at a time...#MusicMatters Music has the power to expand minds, to open hearts, and to change lives. Access to music should be a universal right, independent of geography or socioeconomic background. Make a child’s dreams come true. Be a part of the movement to give music to everyone who wants it. LTW Project is setting out to make sure everyone has a chance to do music no matter their financial status, while also giving back to the community. If you want to be a part of getting access to music education to any child who otherwise wouldn't have the means to learn music or own their own instruments, please check it out and spread the word! Incentives of the GoFundMe:
Teespring Continuing, Louder Than Words Project's movement to show why music matters and showcase the powers that it has; we have started a #MusicMatters store on Teespring with 5 different designs! Each design is available on T-Shirts, Hoodies, and Mugs. The proceeds from this campaign will go towards the application for Non-Profit status, so we can continue to expand our mission and our reach! Also, 25% of these campaigns have money going towards various other organizations that include: Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Make-A-Wish Foundation, Stand Up To Cancer, and Charity Water. https://teespring.com/stores/ltwmusicmatters Benefit Concert We are currently working on organizing a Music & Art Festival that will benefit Brenner's Children Hospital where the money would go towards helping the children to have access to music and art to help them through their treatments and recovery. Are you a musician or artist interested in helping a great cause while also doing what you love? If you would like to take part in this festival or any future events for LTW Project, please contact us via the contact form, or send a message to our Facebook (facebook.com/ltwproject).
