Giving back through music one project at a time...#MusicMatters
Music has the power to expand minds, to open hearts, and to change lives. Access to music should be a universal right, independent of geography or socioeconomic background.
Make a child’s dreams come true. Be a part of the movement to give music to everyone who wants it.
LTW Project is setting out to make sure everyone has a chance to do music no matter their financial status, while also giving back to the community.

About the Founder
Nikki Trail is a classically trained saxophonist, primarily tenor saxophone, currently living in Kernersville, North Carolina. Nikki has studied with Dr. Steven Stusek at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She divides her time performing, teaching and doing nonprofit work that uses music as a means of giving back.
Nikki is also constantly working to expand the solo repertoire for the tenor saxophone in classical music. She partnered up with composer Jonathan S. Miller, out of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, to develop new music for her primary instrument, including the 2013 World Premiere of his work Raven and the 2014 World Premiere of his work Because I Fly.
Since 2010, Nikki has worked as a private lesson teacher in the Winston-Salem area teaching young students how to better themselves as musicians. Her students have many success stories that include passing auditions into various honors bands in North Carolina as well as them earning Superior ratings at Solo and Ensemble Festivals.
When Nikki is not teaching or performing, she is doing nonprofit work for many different causes and organizations. In 2012, after the devastation left behind by Hurricane Sandy, she quickly organized a benefit concert to help raise funds for the relief efforts. This is one of many examples of the nonprofit work Nikki is constantly working on that involves music in one form or another.
Currently, Nikki is continuing her work as a performer and teacher while also working as a social media manager and consultant. However, her primary focus is developing her Louder Than Words Project which mission is to give back through music one project at a time…
